Life Insurance Corporation of India invests Rs. 500 m in Lankan unit

Life Insurance Corporation of India has infused additional capital to the tune of Rs. 500 million (approximately INR 14 crores) into its subsidiary, Life Insurance Corporation (Lanka). 

After allotment of shares, the shareholding of the Corporation will increased from 90.91% (before allotment) to 93.75% (post allotment) in the subsidiary.
