The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has recorded a profit of Rs. 18 billion during the first six months of 2025, according to its Managing Director, Mayura Neththikumara.

Speaking to media, Neththikumara revealed that the corporation has already initiated several new development projects aimed at strengthening the country’s petroleum infrastructure. 

Among the most notable is the construction of an aviation fuel pipeline stretching from the Muthurajawela terminal to the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake.
