Thepulee Wannakukorala, a student of the City School of Architecture, has made history by becoming the youngest Sri Lankan researcher to have a scientific paper accepted and recognised by NASA.

Her 2020 research on Thermo Nano Cells captured the attention of leading divisions within the space agency, earning her an official invitation to submit a follow-up study — and opening doors to a potential future research role with NASA.
